Details:

Civil ceremony starting at 13:00. Guests can arrive from 12 noon, and we kindly request that guests are seated by 12:30. Wedding breakfast and evening reception to follow. Carriages at 01:00.​

Please note that this event will be adults only. While we love your little ones, we would like to create a relaxing atmosphere where everyone can enjoy themselves, and as such, this will be a child free celebration. We appreciate you making arrangements in advance. 

Food:

This will be a three course, plated meal for the Wedding breakfast, with an evening buffet to follow. 

Dress Code:

Black Tie 

Men: This calls for either a black or midnight blue dinner suit, a dress shirt and a bow tie. Dinner jackets are recommended, but not essential. 

Women: Dress hemlines should ideally be floor length, but shorter hemlines are welcome.

Accommodation

We would love for you to be able to stay with us at the Tregenna Castle Resort, and a wedding discount of 30% on up to 3 night stays can be used when booking. This is accessed by phoning the reservations team (+441736 795254) and quoting our names with the date of wedding.

If you decide you would like to stay elsewhere, some options we recommend are listed below:

£££ - Carbis Bay Hotel (St Ives)

££ - Harbour hotel (St Ives), The Gannet Hotel (St Ives)

£ - Beachside Holiday Park (in nearby Hayle)

The above options are all within 20 minutes of the venue by car, and we have tried to recommend for all budgets. There are also a wide range of AirBnBs, holiday lets and other hotels in the surrounding area. If you are struggling with accommodation, please contact us. 

*** Please note that our wedding is over Easter weekend. This is a very busy time for holidays in Cornwall, therefore we suggest booking your accommodation well in advance ***

Travel

International: 

  • Trains from Heathrow and Gatwick airports to St Erth/ Penzance, then change for St. Ives.

  • Flights from Gatwick to Newquay airport (please check as recent change of provider). 1 hour drive to St. Ives.

Visa:

Unfortunately, as per changes announced on 13/3/25, Trinidad and Tobago nationals will now require a visa to visit the UK. Please find further information here.

Transport

If you are not staying at the venue, we would recommend pre-booking a taxi with a local company, as these can get very busy during holiday times. We can recommend the below companies:
